3 AM cloud cover had dissipated enough by 6:00 that I was able to try a few 'moonshots' this morning. Of course, it was far enough down the western sky by then that there was absolutely no hope of a clear shot from my property. So I just shot through the trees, and here are two shots of pretty much the exact same angle, with only the focal point changed, the left with focus on the trees, the right with focus on the moon.(shot from my front porch with a Canon SX410 IS and a camera stand)(and first signs of spring, photo on the right shows buds forming on the tree branches)

We better not start getting budding trees yet. It's much to early for that here since we can easily get one last blizzard into April.I like your moon shots. Can't tell it's of the moon but they are as rebelann would say, kool, just the same.

@myklj999 but your March and April snows never hurt the budded trees? We lost almost all our fruit trees one year. Not me personally but my state, when it was unseasonably warm Feb to match and then we got a deep frost very late.I don't think snow hurts the foliage it's mostly those killer frosts.
